FNVIR Dr Pradeep Kumar Reddy has earned his MBBS from Government medical college, Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh and DNB Radiology from Kovai Medical centre & hospital (KMCH), Coimbatore. Later he did his Post doctoral fellowship from Sri Ramachandra Medical college, Chennai and FNVIR (Fellowship in Neuro & vascular interventional radiology) from Jawaharlal Nehru medical college, Dr KLE Prabhakar Kore hospital Belgaum, Karnataka. He is considered as one of the best neuro and vascular interventional radiologist in North Karnataka and Kalyana Karnataka regions. He is currently working as Assistant professor in Vijayanagara institute of medical sciences (VIMS), Ballari, Karnataka. Specialties With a diverse and comprehensive skill set, his expertise spans a wide range of vascular and interventional procedures. His proficiency includes employing advanced techniques such as endovenous laser ablations and Venaseal Glue for the treatment of varicose veins and incompetent perforators. Additionally, he excels in endovascular management of peripheral vascular diseases through angioplasty and stenting, as well as the effective handling of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Further showcasing his versatility, he specializes in embolization procedures for various conditions, including uterine arteries for postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), arteriovenous malformations (AVM), uterine fibroids, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and varicoceles. His skill extends to acute trauma stabilization procedures, onco-interventional techniques such as radiofrequency ablation (RFA), microwave therapy, chemoembolization, and radioembolization for hepatic, renal, and gastrointestinal tumors. Moreover, he is adept in mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke management, carotid stenting, and minimally invasive endovascular management of intracranial aneurysms, utilizing techniques such as balloon and stent-assisted coiling, as well as flow diverter placement. Additionally, he demonstrates proficiency in CT and ultrasound-guided procedures, including biopsies, drainages, and fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC).
